I’m Dr. Allison. I’m a licensed clinical psychologist, and I’ve made it my life mission to simplify psychology, helping you live the healthy and meaningful life you totally deserve.
Life throws out some pretty tough stuff. And while you don’t always get a say in what life throws your way, you absolutely have a say in how you respond. And that’s where I come in. As a psychologist, I’ve got the inside scoop on real, practical, and research-backed tips for how to make the most out of your life.
I find a balance between the science and the practical, making content completely relevant to your everyday life. If you want to tackle anxiety, improve relationships, increase happiness, and be courageous, this is the place for you!
I currently practice psychotherapy in the Chicago area, seeing individuals for therapy. In addition to my work within the therapy room, I travel all across the country, speaking and leading workshops for organizations, companies, and schools who are interested in investing in their people. Healthy employees, students, and members make happy employees, students, and members. I would love to talk about ways we can partner up and help your people become healthier and happier! I graduated with my Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M, and before that, I was a proud Sooner, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. I am a bargain hunter at heart, and I love finding creative ways to express my personal style. (The more color, pattern, sparkle, and leopard, the better in my book!) College football, Harry Potter, and snail mail are a few of my favorite things.
So pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and get ready. You’ve got one shot at this thing called life, so let’s help you make the most of it!
